April Update

Samedis.care Update

Welcome to the latest update! We've added lots of exciting new features to make your everyday life easier. We've also fixed a few bugs to make your experience even smoother.

All new functions will be available from 16 April 2025.

🚀 New Features

In addition to detailed improvements for training management and optimizations for your inventories (devices), we have primarily implemented functions for the service providers in this release so that the facility can work optimally with the service and testing companies. The companies can now manage measures directly and centrally for all facilities and the results of tests are stored digitally directly in the facilities on the respective device without media disruptions.

🗂️ Maintenance management module

Reference: #1883

Create maintenance tasks even more efficiently: Select templates based on types and models, add others manually and select the appropriate test device. Once completed, a PDF report is automatically created and all changes are documented in the journal. Tasks can only be reopened with the appropriate authorization - including confirmation.

🧰 Test device management

Reference: #1815

For optimal testing, it is necessary to record the test equipment used in the measure. We now provide a simple management system for this purpose. Manage test equipment just as easily as your inventory! Add, edit or archive devices. Select test equipment directly in the maintenance task - even in an enterprise context. All closed tasks save the test devices used for tracking purposes.

📄 Improved content management

Reference: #1816

It was already possible to store your own content (links, documents, videos) on a device type, which is displayed to users in the catalog in addition to the global catalog data. We have now expanded this module! Conveniently edit content such as maintenance checklists that are available in the measures. In addition: versioning, change history and direct restoration of previous versions are available.

➕ Add maintenance type and inventory “on the fly”

Reference: #1900

Create a new inventory and new maintenance types in the DIalog during the creation of a measure if required. This gives you even more flexibility when planning! If you create a task and the device is not yet in the inventory or the desired maintenance type is not available in the device, you can now create it directly with the task.

🔢 Order number in tasks

Reference: #1892

Optionally add an order number to the task in order to be able to summarize them easily as a service provider or to be able to assign them more easily to incoming orders and invoices as an institution.

🧾 PDF report for tasks

Reference: #1882

Automatically receive a PDF report with all relevant information once a measure has been completed. Inspection measures now include a complete report that can be used internally in the facility for in-house management as well as by the service provider.

👥 Profiles for access management

Reference: #1847

A long-requested topic - simplify authorization management: create profiles that you can assign to users. This means you can finally make changes to access rights in the profile that are then directly active for every user assigned to this profile.

Every employee can now invite employees to the facility without admin rights (access management). This allows medical technology officers, for example, to invite their team members to the facility (and thus to my.samedis.care). The employee is assigned to the “standard user” profile, which means that the employee's data is displayed in my.samedis.care, but has no further rights within the institution, which can of course be assigned to the user after the invitation has been accepted.

📊 Extended evaluations in reports

Reference: #1857

Your matrix report on devices and employees is now even more informative: If a device is marked as “not used” in one or more assignment group(s), it now also appears accordingly in this report. This gives you the perfect overview.

The “not used” management continues to take place in the group matrix.

📈 Matrix export contains filters

Reference: #1828

When exporting your matrix report to an Excel document, the filter used is now also documented in an extra sheet.

🛡️ Improved rights in training groups

Reference: #1830

Previously, you could define who is notified as the “approver” for the group when there are referrals to view and confirm. Now you have more control in your referral groups: Determine exactly who is allowed to change devices or members. This means that everyone can still use the groups for filters in the reports, but only those employees who have been authorized in the group can make changes.

🏷️ Device types Origin in inventory

Reference: #1908

Would you like to improve the quality of the inventory and catalog data and contribute to a good device type catalog as part of the community? Your inventories are assigned to a device type. If this type is not available in the global catalog, then you have created a type within your institution. This is often a temporary solution for medical technology types until you have determined the detailed data in order to publish this type. You can now display a column in your inventory list that shows you whether your inventory is linked to a global or local type so that you can organize the revision of the types more easily.

📘 Open inventory regulatory PDF report directly

Reference: #1896

In the Inventory report, you can now open the MP book (PDF) directly from the overview - one click is all it takes!

🖊️ Open dialog for maintenance types directly

Reference: #1903

When adding a new maintenance type within an inventory, the editing dialog now opens directly - no additional click required!

🆔 Inventory number in the detailed view “Device belongs to”

Reference: #1832

The inventory number is now also visible in the detailed view.

🔍 Extended QR code parameters

Reference: #1819

You can only use the QR code app, which you can install on your cell phone or tablet to print QR codes of the inventories, to also store your own logo in the app. You can also optionally print the location and department directly if you wish.

Der Link zum App Download for Android und Apple ist innerhalb der Anwendung direkt verfügbar.

📝 Extended routing slip

Reference: #1905

The routing slip now also contains the personnel number and, for each device type, an indication of whether it is Annex 1 or 2 to the MPBetreibV.

📎 Preview for attachments in requests

Reference: #1909

View images, videos and documents in requests directly in the browser - without downloading! This makes working on mobile end devices even easier and ensures that no data is stored on the end device in a BYOD (Bring your own Device) environment.

We hope you enjoy testing it and look forward to your feedback!
