Samedis.care Update

🎉  It's taken a little longer than usual, but the time has come again! We're introducing you to our latest updates and are excited to see how you like the new features!

All new functions will be available from 18 Septemberl 2024. 



💎 Design facelift and menu navigation

We have now moved the navigation, which was previously on the left, to the top and integrated the various special areas (Enterprise for some users, reports for evaluations). This eliminates the “More apps” area, making navigation much more intuitive and giving you more space for the application. Your personal area my.samedis.care is now always a click away via your profile picture at the top right.


📱 Optimized mobile views

We have optimized the navigation and view for use on smartphones. This means that you can now use Samedis.care optimally on your smartphone as well as your tablet and desktop.



🗂️ Expanded location structures

For the larger facilities that use Samedis.care, we now provide the option of creating properties, buildings, floors and rooms so that the facility can be mapped in detail. Use for maintenance or admission management remains just as easy, of course.


📰 Directory of relevant employees

The directory, which shows the current contact persons within a company, has been around for some time. We have now implemented some improvements to this function to improve communication within the organization.

On the start page of my.samedis.care it is now possible to display the list of employees with certain positions (e.g. medical device officer representative).

The following video shows how to create positions, assign employees and then make them available within app.samedis.care or my.samedis.care.


📎 Further changes and optimizations

  • The avatar picture in my.samedis.care now updates the employee picture in the facility if none is available in the employee management.
  • The documented trainings can now be exported to Excel in my.samedis.care.
  • During the retirement process of an inventory it is now possible to add documents to this task.
  • Tasks only display tasks that are a maximum of 2 years old. Older tasks can be displayed explicitly by activating the archive filter.
  • Tasks now have a sequential number as an automatic field to identify each task by a number.
  • If a closed task is reopened, the completion date is reset so that this must be set again when the task is closed again.
  • Task journal entries can be deleted within the first 15 minutes. From now on, this is only possible for self-created entries.
  • Emails of the type Tasks now contain the type and due date of the task so that the content of the task can already be better assessed in the view.
  • The column selector for inventory lists now contains department and no medical device as selectable columns for display in the list.
  • Contacts that are of the company type are now displayed directly in the detailed view for linked contacts. From this list, you can add new contact persons or call up existing ones directly.
  • The overview of the instruction groups now only shows your own groups that you have created or for which you are responsible. All groups can also be displayed using a filter.
