Product Update – Summer 2026
All new functions will be available from 01 july 2026.

This release brings a wealth of new features around training, maintenance, contracts and mobile use. From the central contract register and the native app to camera-based AI inventory capture, much of it makes your everyday work noticeably easier. Here are all the highlights – organized by topic.
🚀 New Features
✍️ Training signature via QR code
Reference: #2269
As a trainer, you show a QR code that all participants scan with their smartphones to open a signature page. Signatures already given are protected and can only be redone after an active reset.
👥 Pre-filter staff by position
Reference: #2208
In the staff selector and the instruction matrix, you can filter by position, for example to capture all "nurses". When the filter is active, it is also shown in the Excel legend.
📑 Contract Register: Manage contracts centrally
Reference: #2315
You can now store maintenance, rental and service contracts centrally under "Setup" – including one or more PDF documents. A review dashboard reminds you in good time before the notice period ends, so you can calmly decide whether to renew or terminate. Optionally, you can link contracts to individual inventory items and see them right in the device's Service tab.
📤 Inventory import: upload, harmonize & assign
Reference: #2254, #2264, #2286
You can upload any Excel file; the system validates fields, numbers and dates and maps columns to the target fields automatically – and you can adjust the mapping manually if needed. After mapping, we use various AI tools to match the inventory items to the types in the catalog. A three-step assistant then guides you through assigning the imported device models to the catalog: match existing entries, create them locally, or flag them for MDM publishing, and review everything before the final import.
🏷️ More options for ownership type
Reference: #2232
The ownership type of devices now supports more variants: Rental/Leasing, Pay-per-Use, Owned and Loaner Device. Existing data is migrated automatically.
✉️ More context in request emails
Referenz: #2284
Notification emails for new requests will now also include the facility and the device location. This lets you triage and route messages right away, without having to log in first.
🎫 Improved request management
Referenz: #2267
You can now see your own requests right on the home page. Department heads can now view the requests in read-only mode, using filters by department, location, and group, and add messages if necessary.
🪢 Better link between requests and tasks
Referenz: #2274
The link between a request and a task becomes more visible: A journal entry links directly to the corresponding request. When a task is closed, a dialog box asks whether the linked request should also be closed.
🤖 Detect UDI-DI automatically from the type plate
Reference: #2157
When you enter an inventory item with a photo of its nameplate, a background process checks the image for a UDI-DI. Recognized values are sent to a validation workflow in the MDM, where they are verified and added to the catalog so that items can be found using the code in the future.
📦 Edit inventory items in bulk
Referenz: #1269
You can select several inventory items and change shared fields such as service partner, location and department in one step. In the Service World, this feature is also available to service providers for the inventories they are responsible for. Every change is recorded in the inventory item's change log.
🧮 Show cost centers right at the device
Referenz: #2310
In addition to the department, the cost centers are now shown at the device. This brings more transparency to the assignment.
🔬 Zoom images in the viewer
Referenz: #2266
In the image viewer, you can zoom into uploaded shots – handy, for example, for reading type plates.
🔎 Faster, more accurate search
Referenz: #2305
Search is moving to a modern search engine that takes load off the database and delivers better results. You benefit from partial-term matches across inventory number, serial number, model, manufacturer, location and more – including exact search and excluding individual terms.
✏️ Edit locations & departments even in read-only mode
Referenz: #2303
Even when a tenant is running in free or read-only mode, you can still maintain locations, buildings, floors and departments.
📍 Store an address per building
Referenz: #2255
You can now assign each building its own address (street, no., ZIP, town). On save, geo data is optionally determined – as a basis for future location checks of devices.
🏠 Building address in the "MP-Buch" report
Referenz: #2261
In property mode, the PDF report will now show the stored building address, if available – instead of the general tenant address.
💰 Multiple cost centers per department
Reference: #2047
A department can now be assigned multiple cost centers instead of just one. In the import, you can separate multiple values with a semicolon; existing interfaces remain compatible.
🧭 Find filters more easily in mobile view
Referenz: #2247
Mobile search now has a dedicated settings/filter icon. This makes it much faster to find filters (for example "show retired devices").
🎚️ Clearer filter dialogs
Reference: #2192
Selected entries now appear at the top of filter lists. This improves clarity without the list jumping while you use it.
🗂️ Open dialogs in a new tab
Referenz: #2239
Dialogs can now be opened in a new browser tab to access the respective record directly. For new, not-yet-saved entries, the function is greyed out.
🧰 Nicer maintenance page
Referenz: #2245
The system maintenance page (during planned downtime) becomes more attractive and informative – with a localized end date, an HTTP status where appropriate, and a reload button.
We hope you enjoy testing it and look forward to your feedback!
