February Update

Samedis.care Update

All new functions will be available from 27 February 2026.

🚀 New Features

With this release, we have implemented several features to optimize processes, improve data security, and make maintenance more efficient. In addition, bugs have been fixed and the stability of the platform has been further increased so that you can work even more reliably in your everyday tasks.

🎯 Improved filter UX in tables

Reference: #2192

Selected filter values are displayed more clearly and remain stable when navigating through lists. For large institutions with many briefing groups, departments, and economic units, we have implemented an additional dialog selection in the filter. This makes it easier to work with large amounts of data.

👩‍⚕️ Matrix overview: Position can be selected as a filter

Reference: #2088

In the Matrix Overview, we can now also filter positions as selection criteria, such as “Care.” This makes it possible to find employees from specific positions across groups and departments. This greatly simplifies training assignments and evaluations.

📄 Create PDF work orders directly from measures

Reference: #1651

Requests for quotes or orders can now be generated directly as PDF files and sent from within measures. All relevant inventory and task data is automatically transferred. This saves time and ensures consistent documentation.

🤖 Automatic UDI-DI recognition from type plates after inventorying

Reference: #2157

During inventory, a picture of the type plate on the device is taken using the mobile device (hopefully always). This facilitates maintenance, as the relevant information in the data record can be clearly checked against the type plate at the workplace, far away from the physical location of the device.

From now on, type plate images will be analyzed automatically and the UDI-DI information they contain will be recognized. An internal Samedis.care review workflow enables easy transfer to the device catalog. This continuously improves data quality, which in turn helps everyone with future type recognition during inventory or stocktaking.

🧩 Batch processing for inventory data

Reference: #2115

In response to popular demand, we now allow you to assign the fields Service Partner, Location, Department, and Status from the list. This means you can select multiple inventories in a single step and update one of the above fields in a single step. Changes are automatically documented in the change log.

💰 Multiple cost centers per department

Reference: #2047

Departments can now contain or manage multiple cost centers. Search, import, and display fully support this enhancement. This enables a more realistic representation of organizational structures.

🌐 Manage multiple network interfaces per device

Reference: #1962

Technical operators can record multiple network interfaces, including IP and MAC addresses. Existing data remains compatible. Ideal for modern networked medical devices.

🔒 IP access restriction per client

Reference: #2232

Access to Samedis can now be restricted to defined IPv4 and IPv6 address ranges. Administrators can specify permitted networks, thereby providing additional security for system access. This feature is intended for institutions that want to restrict access to certain networks in addition to the already very high security standards of Samedis.care.

Note: To avoid accidentally locking yourself out due to incorrect configurations, activation of this function is coordinated by Samedis.care support. Please contact us if necessary.

🛡️ Account lock after failed login attempts

Reference: #2219

Since the security situation is becoming increasingly serious these days and AI is leading to more and more attacks on all kinds of systems, we have further enhanced the security of the login procedure. User accounts will now be automatically locked after several failed login attempts. Secure unlocking via email is possible. This improves protection against unauthorized access.

We hope you enjoy testing it and look forward to your feedback!
